Default switching between consoles on Linux server

On an experimental computer with CentOS 3.6.30.1 all standard consoles are my F1 to F6. I made further adjustments to add from F8 to F12. I would like to add more consoles but don't know which keys will be needed for switching between.

Default Re: switching between consoles on Linux server

You need only one console and program that's named screen. Through it you can open so many consoles as you want. Type in the console - man screen or take a look in this link GNU Screen - GNU Project - Free Software Foundation
