Default cPanel phpMyAdmin Error #2002

Hello I have started to get:

phpMyAdmin - Error

#2002 - The server is not responding (or the local MySQL server's socket is not correctly configured)

What might be the reason and can I fix it ?

Default Fix phpMyAdmin error 2002

You may try to reinstall cPanel with:

# /scripts/upcp --force

Be sure you have not entered special characters in MySQL root password.

Yes it was the MySQL root password. I have changed it and phpMyAdmin is working fine again.

You won't need the MySQL root password changed normally - so not sure why you guys are editing it :P

Sometimes when you have phpmyadmin error you need just to reboot your VPS and all will be ok.
